I had a sump pump that went bad, Genevie Plumbing was contracted to do the repairs, they gave me an expected time of arrival, and exceeded the time given. When Paul arrived he was very friendly, and professional. He resolved my problem within 15 – 30 minutes. He explained the problem and allowed me to observe as he replaced the malfunctioned sump pump. He identified existing pipes that could possible cause problems and informed me that the length of the drain pipes was not necessary, and appropriately made the modifications. His prompt response prevented further damage to the basement, for which I am grateful. Thank you Genevie for your high touch customer service, and sending such an outstanding plumber.

We were very fortunate, Genevie Plumbing cleared all the pipes all the way out to the street. They took care of the problem in less than an hour and charged less than the previous plumber.

The previous plumber worked for hours trying to solve the problem but said it may require digging into the foundation. At that time, we couldn’t run water, nor use the dishwasher, nor wash clothes and the dryer sits above the main drain.

We called Genevie when we came home and discovered we had a leaky pipe in our basement. Nick and Jack were there first thing the next morning, and had it fixed properly within an hour. The following week, we had another water issue, and again the technicians arrived promptly. It was a difficult problem, as it involved cutting drywall to potentially find the leak. Nick and Jack showed real concern for taking care of our home, and respect for us. Their expertise and professionalism were plainly evident, and we are both impressed! We also learned more about our home and the systems in it, and most technicians are too busy to fully discuss things with customers. They unclogged my utility sink (which a gallon of drain cleaner & plunging couldn’t unclog)Also got them to remove the old cerement utility sink(from the 60’s)and replace it with a new sink and new faucet, which I had bought in advance. They were there exactly on time and it took them about an hour to do everything. |I was quoted a higher price over the phone (somewhere around $400.)but that was the “worse case scenario” price. I was very surprised and happy with the final price. They did an excellent job. I called at about 2:30 and someone was at my door by 3:00. I knew that I needed a service valve because I didn’t have one and my supply line was leaking, but the technician also discovered that my p-trap was also leaking and replaced that.
